Moving to change
Europe Moves Culture invited five European artists to collaborate and share their artistic practices with the local community, aiming to create a collective work reflecting their individual journeys.
During the residency, the choreographic research explored various aspects of the body as an archive through participatory workshops shared with the community. These workshops were specifically designed for a community of adult migrants, with the intention of providing the body with a space for expression, allowing them to carry their personal memories and origins.
The final presentation, Moving to Change, is a participatory creation offering playful activities that consider the body as an archive, with the goal of activating participants' sensory perception and inviting them to express themselves in a convivial setting within the Corte Ospitale space.
Based on scoring, this project aims to create, together with the participants, a shared ritual and a collective memory through play and exchange.
